In order to renovate the Westraven office building in Utrecht, it was necessary to position steel frames which were fitted with glass panels on the floor of the auditorium.
Due to the weight of the steel frames (300 kg) and the maximum permitted load of the floor (which was fitted with floating parquet), this work was carried out using two mini cranes, where the transportation route is fitted with plastic slabs with an underlying layer of felt to protect the wooden floor and to spread the load.
