The types of machinery we transport
We have experience transporting heavy machinery from many different sectors. Our experience spans a wide variety of machines, below are some of the most common sectors and machines.
Industrial machinery and equipment
Industrial machines and plants include heavy production machines (such as presses, CNC machining centers and generators) and complete factory plants or modules. This also includes complete production lines, which often consist of several linked machines that need to be disassembled and transported. This type of industrial equipment is usually large, complex and valuable, requiring specialized transportation.
Construction equipment and heavy vehicles
Construction equipment and heavy vehicles include machines from the construction and infrastructure sector, such as excavators, wheel loaders, cranes, bulldozers, asphalt machines and draglines. These machines often have exceptional dimensions and weights, so they often do not fit on average loaders, requiring special transport.
Agricultural Machinery
Agricultural machinery includes agricultural vehicles and equipment such as tractors, combines, sprayers, balers and other harvesters. These machines are also often too wide or high and often need to be moved outside the agricultural field. This could include moving a tractor or harvester to a customer or trade show.
Other specialized machinery
In addition to the above sectors, we also transport other types of machinery from other industries, for example, logistics machinery (forklifts and reachstackers), ship and aircraft parts, and large medical or laboratory equipment (such as MRI scanners or industrial autoclaves). When these machines are too large or sensitive for standard shipping, we transport them with due care.

Machine safety during transportation
Tightly under personnel safety comes machine safety. It is always a priority to ensure machine safety, which is why we carefully plan transportation, make a thorough risk assessment and deploy experienced technicians and suitable equipment to move the valuable machinery without damage.
Temporary storage during the move
Some heavy machine transport projects require temporary storage due to phasing of the heavy machine transport process or because the machines must leave the old location before the new location is ready to deploy the machines.
We offer temporary storage in these situations. The machines will be placed in a conditioned room and packed accordingly to ensure that the machines are not damaged by moisture, dust or temperature change.
International heavy machinery transportation
We have experience with both national (within the Netherlands) and international heavy machinery transport. There is a difference in the rules, permits and customs formalities required for border crossing per destination country.
International heavy machinery transportation within the European Union
Thanks to the European Union's internal market, there is free movement of goods between member states. This means there are no border controls or import duties for transporting machinery. This greatly simplifies paperwork.
We do not have to file a customs declaration within the European Union to transport machinery, but our transporters must have the proper transport licenses and must comply with the traffic regulations of each country they cross. Each country (even within the European Union) has different rules regarding special transportation.
International heavy machinery transportation outside the European Union
If a heavy machine goes to a country outside the European Union, we have to deal with customs formalities. When exporting, an export declaration must be made to customs in the country of shipment. The shipment must be accompanied by the appropriate export and/or import documents, documents such as the commercial invoice where the machine and value are specified, and a packing list with contents and weight.
Depending on the destination, additional documents may be required, such as a Certificate of Origin to indicate where the machines were produced. We take care of this for you as much as possible.
